Don't Quit before the Harvest

The past few weeks have definitely been some of the most interesting, as well as the most blessed. We have been seeing the Lord work in powerful ways in the churches we have been in. As I sit here, looking out my window, I ponder the harvest season now upon us. It seems like, up till now, it has been toil, toil, toil. Now it is a joy to begin to see the fruits of our labors. We are excited to see our support top that 30% mark as we are now at 31%. We praise the Lord for this milestone in our deputation. I believe we have been witnessing the Lord raise up a mighty prayer army for this ministry and I am deeply humbled and greatly excited!

We have just finished a 4 day mission conference. As tired as we are afterwards, we come away greatly refreshed. It was an unusual week for many reasons, but most notably because our children had developed the chicken pox. The Lord answered prayer and brought a babysitter across our path who would be able to watch the children for the duration of the conference. Our thanks to those of you who were praying that we would find someone. God answered your prayers!

This week we embark on our 6-week journey. We will spend a couple of weeks in the east coast and then loop up through Wisconsin, through the UP, and then down the heart of Michigan. We covet your prayers for safety, health, and that we will be able to be a blessing to the churches as we keep missions before them.
