Bryanna has Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, and Nose Cauterized

Today, Bryanna underwent the surgery to remove her tonsils and adenoids. It was actually a quick appointment. For years she has been struggling with her tonsil constantly being swollen and infected and for years doctors have said to wait. Finally we took her to a local doctor and he agreed that they needed to be removed. The office called me the next day and said they had an opening for today. It all happened so fast! I think the cutest thing was when they gave Bryanna "bravery" medicine right before the IV and surgery. Within 5 minutes of taking the pink fluid, she was more giddy then someone on funny gas. When the nurse came to the room, Bryanna exclaimed, "Why do you have so many eyes!" The surgery went off without a hitch. It was the recovery time which was difficult. I just could not seem to get here to stop crying...she was in so much pain and could not understand what was going on. The disorientation from the anesthesia seem to take quite a while to wear off. We actually did not get released until late into the evening because we could not get her to stop vomiting (another side effect of the anesthesia). Praise the Lord that we were able to come home and did not have to stay overnight! Please pray for continued recovery.
